Wichita Meditation Circle is affiliated with Self-Realization Fellowship, a worldwide spiritual organization with international headquarters in Los Angeles, California. Self-Realization Fellowship was founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda, who is widely revered as one of the preeminent spiritual figures of our time.

Through his writings, including his bestselling book Autobiography of a Yogi, Paramahansa Yogananda has introduced truth-seekers all over the world to India's age-old philosophy of Yoga and its time-honored tradition of meditation.
